TIF,MCASMiramarApproximately 1,500 children and their families stationed at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar received brand new toys from the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) and national partner Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) Military Services during a special Month of the Military Child celebration, which took place on April 11 in San Diego.

As reported by the Toy Industry Association, the parent company of TIF, boys and girls of all ages picked out new toys and participated in a special day of play with their families, enjoying a zip line, carnival games, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, and more. MCAS Miramar was the 174th military installation to receive toys through TIF’s Play Comforts program, launched in 2010 with BGCA to comfort military families and show appreciation for their sacrifices.
