It’s officially June, so the Toy Book Top 10 is hitting the rewind button and taking a look back at some of the hottest stories of May 2022, as chosen by you, the readers.

The Toy Book‘s 2022 Classic Play issue debuted at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, and despite being available for just the last week of the month, the digital issue immediately cracked the Top 10 before rocketing up to No. 3. As it’s been since we released it in February, our 2022 BIG Book is still a must-read for those interested in the toy industry, and while it technically secured a slot within the Top 10, only news that was published in May qualifies for an official designation.

With that in mind, stories from Licensing Expo and a raft of corporate appointments and new hires absolutely dominated the most-read items here at the Toy Book last month … behind the ghouls of Mattel’s Monster High.
