The disruption in toy fair season has placed the spotlight on ToyFest West.
This week, the Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA) board of directors voted to move forward with the in-person show March 9-11, 2022 at The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas. Attendees will also have access to gift and accessory lines that are available in permanent showrooms at the World Market Center Las Vegas.
“There are many things to look forward to … One being, WTHRA will celebrate its Diamond Anniversary, 60 years of producing the finest toy show in the West,” says WTHRA President Lawrence Nissen. “Another is that exhibitors are purchasing more booth space to prepare for the retailers, new and old who are registered for the show.”
According to the organizers, ToyFest West will follow Clark County and Nevada State Guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the time of the event. Currently, masks are required for either vaccinated or unvaccinated people at indoor events in Clark County. Attendees and exhibitors will be asked to wear a mask at the entrance to any building. Signs will be posted as a reminder. Temperature checks will take place at the entrance to The Expo’s south hall by an EMT and hand sanitizer will be made available inside the hall at the registration area.
