VTech unveiled a trio of new additions to its infant, toddler, and preschool toy lines for spring.

“One of my favorite toys this year is the Level Up Gaming Chair — it’s a fun way for kids to pretend to emulate the cool technology their parents use,” says Andy Keimach, president of VTech. “Our new toys encourage kids to use their imaginations which is so important to a child’s development.”

Finally, the Pop & Spin Mower ($29.99) teaches kids about gardening basics, colors, and lawn mower safety all while building up fine motor skills. Kids can pull the cord to start the engine and even hear it rumble as they pretend to mow the lawn. As the pretend blade spins, popping beads even mimic grass clippings. The yellow triangle button introduces kids to lawn mower safety too. Even if kids are not yet ready to walk, they can press the light-up buttons to explore colors and gardening themes.

These VTech toys will be available at major retailers later this year.
