Viz Media LLC launched the Uglydoll original graphic novel series, Uglydoll: Goin’ Places! on July 2. In the series, readers will go on a journey through Uglyverse, a place where ugly means celebrating uniqueness, and is considered to be the new beautiful. Uglydoll Comics are rated A for all ages.
The Uglydoll graphic novel series features stories written by Travis Nichols, art by Uglydoll co-creators Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath, Ian McGinty, and Phillip C. Jacobson. Each volume features special guest artists, including Eisner-winner James Kochalka, Eisner-nominee Jacob Chabot, Peter Fowler, Junko Mizuno, Mike L.E. Kelly and Bwana Spoons, among others.
