To give is better than to receive — but this toy drive helps you do both.
The Walt Disney Co. launched its annual Disney Ultimate Toy Drive that lets shoppers give back to those in need this holiday season. In partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots program, Disney has helped bring toys and message of hope to millions of children for 75 years. Walt Disney and his studio artists personally designed the original Toys for Tots train logo that is still used today.
To continue its tradition of telling powerful stories, Disney released an animated spot that celebrates the joy of giving and helps raise awareness for the Ultimate Toy Drive. In “The Gift,” a blended family is shown preparing for the holiday season and the arrival of a new family member. An all-new, original song — titled “A Little More” — performed by Jessica Darrow, the voice of Luisa Madrigal in Encanto, provides the soundtrack for the heartfelt short. The video is the final installment in the “From Our Family to Yours” trilogy.
There are two ways to donate a toy to Toys for Tots: online through Shop Disney or in person by bringing a new, unopened, unwrapped toy to one of the drop-off locations through Dec. 12. The Disney Ultimate Toy Drive runs now through Dec. 24.
