Abhishek Dutta

Abhishek Dutta has joined WarnerMedia as senior director and network head of kids, overseeing Cartoon Network and Pogo in the South Asia market.

Most recently the senior kids programming director at Viacom18, Dutta will be responsible for content direction for both brands, in addition to programming, channel operations, acquisitions, and promotions. He will report to Leslie Lee, vice president of kids content at WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks APAC.

“The kids’ TV category has become more exciting than ever before,” Dutta says. “With my new role at the helm of Cartoon Network and Pogo in South Asia, I am looking forward to driving the current business through its next phase of growth. This set of brands are not only first movers, but also the most established kids’ brands in the country.”

Prior to joining Viacom18 in 2016, Dutta served at Discovery Networks India and ALT Balaji.
