Wicked Cool Toys teamed up with Laura and Jorge Posada, founders of the Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Foundation, to donate more than 10,000 toys to kids in Puerto Rico hit by Hurricane Maria.

“We are honored to join Laura and Jorge Posada to help families in Puerto Rico during the holiday season,” said Michael Rinzler and Jeremy Padawer, co-presidents of Wicked Cool Toys. “We are disheartened by the situation and hope to lift children’s spirits by making their holiday season more joyful.”

Additional toys and donations are needed for both Christmas and Three Kings Day (January 6th).  A Fund started by the Posadas is still open for new donations through youcaring.com/lauraandjorgeposada. In the next phase their efforts include rebuilding housing and helping small businesses start over.

Some of the fund’s donations have been delivered to the Children’s Hospital in Guayanbo; Girls Home in Cypey; Christian Center Bet-el; to the elderly in the town of Corozal; and door to door in the western town of San Sebastian, Anasco, Las Marias, Isabela, and Ponce. Additional supplies were delivered to the mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulin, and was distributed in places in need.
