One of the big hits from this year’s Toy Fair New York is hitting the streets in a big way.

Wicked Cool Toys released Blinger — a glam styling tool that lets kids add bling to just about anything. The easy-to-use tool lets budding fashionistas temporarily add stylish, sparkly gems to hair, clothing, and accessories, and then easily remove them when the fun is done.

While we work with some of the top, established brands in the world from Pokémon to Cabbage Patch Kids, at Wicked Cool Toys we also look to collaborate with innovators who are truly disrupting the product space they are in and bringing something to the table that is entirely unique and new,” says Michael Rinzler, co-president of Wicked Cool Toys. “That’s what we saw in Angie Cella and the product she was developing and it’s why we wanted to work with her.”

Originally launched on Kickstarter as the Hair Blinger, Cella took her invention to the Women In Toys Empowerment Day last year, where she was able to pitch both Wicked Cool Toys and Walmart with a goal of taking the product into even bigger directions.

“Blinger is a styling solution that makes getting glammed up for any kind of special event from prom, to wedding, and even first day of school that’s both fun and easy.  It’s been great to work with Angie on this product and we are sure that Blinger will appeal to users of all ages,” adds Jeremy Padawer, Wicked Cool Toys’ co-president.

At launch, the Blinger Diamond Collection will include 75 gems at an MSRP of $19.99. Additional refill packs will be available in different sizes and pack quantities at major retailers nationwide.
