Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WIT) elected Janice Ross as WIT executive board vice president and appointed Stephanie Mendoza to be on its board of directors as chair of the new WIT Young Professionals Network.
Ross is the Managing Partner at Brand Fresh Management. Previously, she held several senior positions at American Greetings Entertainment and most recently was senior vice president, Licensing and Business Development at Lisa Frank Inc. With more than 25 years of experience in the entertainment business, Ross worked in a variety roles, including entertainment development, production, licensing, and marketing. As vice president of WIT, Ross will be involved in many aspects of implementing the organization’s strategic plan, as well as managing delivery and effectiveness of WIT’s programs worldwide. She has been an integral contributor to the WIT community, serving on the board of directors as co-chair of the Wonder Women Awards Committee.
Mendoza is manager, North America Licensing at Sesame Workshop, the media and education nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street. Prior to joining Sesame Workshop, Mendoza worked as a Project Manager at MSI Entertainment. In 2018, she received the Wonder Woman Rising Star Award. As chair of the Young Professionals Network, she will lead efforts to drive engagement with WIT’s international community of young professionals.
