WizKids' Nemo Rising

NECA’s WizKids brings Nemo Rising to game stores this year as a cooperative adventure game based on C. Courtney Joyner’s sequel to Jules Verne’s classic novel, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

In the new adventure game, Nemo Rising: Robur the Conqueror, one to four players become members of a reimagined version of Nautilus’ crew, and must carry out missions in order to successfully complete the requirements of one of two scenarios — The Undersea Grotto or the City in the Sky. Each scenario represents a unique location with its own geography, environment, and adventures.  Characters include Captain Nemo, Sara Duncan, Adam Fulmer, and Ulysses S. Grant.

Nemo Rising was first released as a hardcover and audiobook in late 2017. Coinciding with the board game release, a paperback edition will be released this fall. Nemo Rising: Robur the Conqueror hits game stores and specialty retail in September.
