WizKids, Vallejo Partner for Custom Hobby Paint Line

NECA’s WizKids has a new partnership with premier hobby paint brand Vallejo. The industry leader in both unpainted and pre-painted miniature gaming figures, WizKids will work with Vallejo on special formulations and all-new, custom colors designed to complement its unpainted miniatures. The first WizKids Paints will be released this fall.

“With more than 50 years in the industry, Vallejo stands out as one of the most popular and high-quality brands of hobby paint in the industry. A leader in this field, they were the first to introduce acrylic colors for miniatures,” says Justin Ziran, president of WizKids.

The news of the new partnership is the latest in a busy first quarter for WizKids, which has seen the company reveal new HeroClix offerings based on the FOX hit, The Orville, in addition to an expanded partnership with Hasbro to create miniatures based on Transformers, My Little Pony, and G.I. Joe. WizKids most recently unveiled a new game based on Nemo Rising.
