This year marks both the 80th anniversary of Batman and the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman film. As part of the year-long #LongLiveTheBat celebration, Maxx Marketing’s YuMe Toys officially launched its full line of Batman DZNR (pronounced “Designer”) Series specialty chibi plush. First seen at Toy Fair New York this past February, the Batman DZNR Series celebrates The Dark Knight as he’s appeared throughout the decades, with artwork reflecting the character’s adventures from the comic to the screen.
“Batman is one of the most beloved and recognizable superheroes of all time and we took great care to meticulously design and create the Batman DZNR Series to ensure that the line truly honors Batman’s legacy,” says Michael Kwan, CEO, Maxx Marketing. “We believe that the unique designs and quality of the chibis capture the essence of Batman and will make excellent additions to any collection. We look forward to launching more high-end, licensed chibi plush lines for fans around the world to enjoy.”
The seven core designs that comprise Batman DZNR Series will be released weekly on Walmart.com beginning July 1. Walmart.com will also offer a limited edition exclusive inspired by the Batman Golden Age comics.
