ZAG has added three executives — Kirk Bloomgarden, Rebekah Belzar, and Eva Rodriguez — to the company’s growing licensing and merchandising division, all reporting to Executive Vice President of Global Operations Julian Zag.

Bloomgarden joins as head of consumer products; Belzer will serve as senior director, licensing and merchandising, North America; and Rodriguez joins as director, Latin American licensing. The new team will spearhead the development and strategy of worldwide consumer products for properties under the ZAG Heroez label, which brings the superheroes from ZAG animated properties such as Power Players, Ghostforce, and Miraculous — Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir under one division.

The new executives’ collective experience includes previous work with top global brands and studios. Bloomgarden is the former CEO of European licensing agency CPLG in London and senior vice president at Twentieth Century Fox; Belzer previously managed sales and licensing for brands such as Power Rangers, Pantone, and MasterChef Junior; and Rodriguez last managed the Latin American consumer products portfolio for Twentieth Century Fox, overseeing major brands such as The Simpsons, Ice Age, and Rio.

“We are very proud to expand our licensing and merchandising department with such talented and respected people in our industry,” Zag says. “Working with such accomplished executives on the strategy for all our brands is an essential step towards our growth, and our main goal — giving to kids and families all around the world a maximal experience with their favorite heroes.”
