ZAG is continuing to grow its Latin American licensing team with the recent appointment of Melisa Fuhr as licensing and retail director, South America.
Fuhr will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and will be responsible for licensing activities across South America. She will oversee ZAG’s licensing agency — IMC — in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. In Chile and Peru, Fuhr will work directly with licensees and retail partners to strategize and adopt licensing and retail promotions. Additionally, Fuhr will focus on the company’s flagship brand Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, as well as the upcoming Ghostforce.
“There are myriad opportunities to expand our consumer products efforts in Latin America, and under Angela’s leadership, Betsabe and Melisa will lead our consumer products activities in all the key markets across the region,” said Executive Vice President of Operations at ZAG Julian Zag. “We are excited to have a solid team in place to maximize our strategy and bring countless opportunities for fans to engage with our brands.”
Before joining ZAG, Fuhr worked for fifteen years at ARCOR SAIC, the largest confectionery manufacturer in Latin America. She left as the company’s licensing director and was responsible for establishing and implementing the company’s licensing division. In the past year, Fuhr worked as the licensing director of Latin America for El Reino Infantil, a Spanish language YouTube channel for kids globally.
