The Kratt Brothers Co. has signed apparel manufacturer Isaac Morris Limited to be its new licensing partner. Kmart and Fred Meyer stores will debut a selection of t-shirts, hoodies, and pants in the Spring.
Additionally, Wild Kratts has expanded its retail line. Wicked Cool Toys has added new action figure sets and role-play items; Pressman Toys added three new games; Random House Children’s Books expanded their line of four Step into Reading titles to 12 books; later this year PBS Distribution will release two new DVDs, Wild Animal Babies and Wild Reptiles; PBS Kids released a new app, Wild Kratts Baby Buddies, intended for children 3 to 8 that focuses on animal care; and InCharacter has added Florida Panther Costumes in both green for Chris and blue for Martin.
The Wild Kratts series, produced by The Kratt Brothers Company and 9 Story Media Group, is now on its fifth series and airs daily on PBS Kids. Every episode begins with a live segment of Chris and Martin where they imagine what it would be like to experience a never-before-seen wildlife occurrence, and asks, “What if…?” to set the show in motion. The show airs in more than 180 countries and is available in 18 languages. Season three is now available on Netflix in the U.S. L’il Critters gummy vitamins and Curious World the online early learning platform are new sponsors for the show. In addition, Wild Kratts Live! is set to travel to 45 different markets this year.
