Moose Toys is continuing its investment in games.
The toy company behind Magic Mixies and Heroes of Goo Jit Zu tapped David Norman to join the company as global general manager, games. This new hire comes after Moose’s previous announcement that the games category would be the company’s primary focus as it grows its business. Beginning May 23, Norman will work out of Moose’s U.S. headquarters in El Segundo, California.
“We’ve aligned our entire company around a very clear, strategic roadmap,” says Ronnie Frankowski, chief commercial officer at Moose Toys. “Our search led us to David, who is one of only a handful of truly recognized thought leaders in the game industry. David will help ensure we successfully combine our hyper innovative product design capabilities with the unique aspects and requirements of the games category and, over time, to build our games division into a powerhouse.”
Norman previously worked at Goliath Games, which he co-founded, and where he spent 13 years as president. Before Goliath, Norman worked for 12 years at University Games, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and product development.
