Pokémon fans, it’s your time to shine!
The Pokémon Co. International is inviting Pokémon fans and enthusiasts to partake in its open casting call for a new, unscripted series about the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG).
With the help of its dedicated followers, Pokémon has celebrated 25 years of success. In 2021, the franchise was ranked as the top-selling toy property at U.S. retail, and is currently the No. 1-selling toy property in 2022. The casting call thanks fans for their support by inviting them to showcase their love for the brand for a potential chance at stardom.
“From dedicated competitors in the Play! Pokémon program and casual players battling after school with friends and family to collectors or general enthusiasts, we’re looking forward to spotlighting the stories of our diverse TCG fans,” says Barry Sams, vice president of The Pokémon Trading Card Game at The Pokémon Co. International. “Anyone in the Los Angeles area with a Pokémon TCG story to tell is encouraged to apply.”
