eBay, the multinational e-commerce company, is teaming up with pop culture and lifestyle brand Funko to launch a new series of exclusive collectibles sold directly on their online shopping site.
“With millions of sales of Funko products on our marketplace last year, we recognize that this incredibly engaged community of collectors are already shopping on eBay,” says Dawn Block, vice president of collectibles, electronics, and home at eBay. “Our collaboration with Funko to bring exclusive inventory into our platform allows us to deliver even more of the rare collectibles these enthusiasts are coveting.”
The new collection will offer Funko enthusiasts the chance to collect figures from all sorts of iconic fandoms, starting with the National Basketball Association (NBA). The first exclusive figure in the series is the Funko GOLD Kawhi Leonard premium vinyl figure. This 5-inch figure features Leonard in his black and white Los Angeles Clippers City Edition uniform. It is limited to 3,000 pieces and costs $15.
Collectors can also purchase other NBA Funko products from eBay, too, including more Funko GOLD figures, Funko Pops!, and Popsies. They feature basketball players from the Chicago Bulls, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Denver Nuggets, and more.
Fans can shop the collection now on ebay.com. Additional drops in the series, including the upcoming Funko Pop! Train Villains collection, will launch later this year.
