A leading sales agency in the gift and home industry is opening a flagship showroom at Dallas Market Center (DMC). Anne McGilvray & Co. announced the opening in advance of the January 2024 Total Home & Gift Market.

The 30,000-square-foot showroom will be located on the second-floor atrium of the World Trade Center in Dallas. It will be the largest showroom in the country for Anne McGilvray & Co. and is part of the company’s strategic business plan to provide enhanced visibility and opportunities for growth.

“As a retailer myself, I have personally witnessed the evolution of Dallas Market Center and the positive changes they have made over the years, making them an ideal partner,” said Founder Anne McGilvray. “For the past 25 years, our offsite Dallas showroom has been the heart of our business, where we have built a strong, loyal customer base and created a warm, inclusive company culture. We are committed to bringing that same level of hospitality to our retailers, vendors, and reps at the DMC.”

Part of the footprint of the Anne McGilvray & Co. space will include Kimberly Wahlberg Company. The showroom will feature dozens of top brands including Blue Q, Chronicle, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Kikkerland, Fred Douglas, and many more. It will also be a hosting space for special celebrations and exciting daily events for the grand opening, to be announced at a later date.

“This move will enhance our exposure and accessibility to our customers, vendors, and prospective partners, while also ensuring continued growth and success for our company,” said Liesl Ludwig, CEO of Anne McGilvray & Co.

The news follows a series of exhibitor news from Dallas Market Center, such as the recent announcement of a flagship Dallas showroom for OneCoast opening in 2024 and the launch of the reimagined Temps at Total Home & Gift Market, which will be the largest summer temps in more than ten years.

“We welcome this iconic company whose multi-generation leadership and tradition of excellence are an amazing addition to our marketplace,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This is a big win for retailers, who will be able to efficiently see top brands, and for vendors who will reach a wider audience of eager buyers as we continue to welcome more retailers from across the country.”

Dallas Market Center has plenty of upcoming June trade events, including Total Home & Gift Market (June 21-27), KidsWorld (June 21-27), Lightovation (June 21-24), and Apparel & Accessories Market (June 27-30).
