The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) has incoming board members.
The trade organization has appointed five new members to its board of directors. ASTRA elected the following individuals to join its board:
- Maryam Al-Hammami, co-founder and CEO at The Game Chest
- Cassidy Smith, president at Uniche Collective
- Darby Zahradnik, director of national accounts at PlayMonster
- Rachel Jones, Virginia sales representative at Sandy Ruben and Associates
- Sandra Malott, Wisconsin territory representative at Diverse Marketing
Each board director will serve for a 3-year term. They will also be recognized at ASTRA’s annual meeting at Marketplace & Academy in Long Beach, California on June 13. The new members will be replacing Lisa Orman, Betty Skoke Burns, Corey Funkey, Amy Saldahna, and Brad Ruoho on the board this month.
