A brand new Build-A-Bear Workshop location will open at The Wrigley Building on Saturday, July 13. The new location is positioned in the heart of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile on the Chicago River, and is a notable retail destination in the U.S. To celebrate the grand opening, Build-A-Bear will give away free Lil Cub teddy bears to the first 50 visitors.
The new location will offer many of the classic experiences one might expect from a Build-A-Bear Workshop, from the Heart Ceremony station to the wall of clothing and accessory options for each and every new friend made at the store. Unique to this location, however, will be the exclusive Chicago-themed merchandise, from the city’s sports team outfits to a bear with a Chicago-themed paw pad.
“At Build-A-Bear Workshop, we are committed to creating unforgettable memories for families and kids of all ages through our unique, hands-on retail experience,” says Chris Hurt, COO at Build-A-Bear Workshop. “We are thrilled to open our Workshop doors in the Wrigley Building, a historic and vibrant tourist location on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, and we look forward to welcoming guests of all ages to create their very own furry friends.”
