Cepia’s Decora Girlz collection is hitting shelves after first being revealed at Toy Fair in New York last year.
Designed for kids ages 4 and up, the Decora Girlz line features diverse styles, vibrant outfits, and customizable accessories inspired by the Japanese Decora Kei aesthetic. There are three products in the collection: the Decora Girlz 5-inch Collectible Mystery Dolls, which include eight surprises in each unboxing; the 11-inch Fashion Girlz, which have fully posable bodies and mix-and-match outfits; and the Decora Girlz Sticker Store Playset, which comes with an exclusive 5-inch Art doll, reusable stickers, a shopping bag, a cash register, and a trash can for kids to act out shopping scenes.
“The positivity and colorful spirit of Decora has been gaining popularity among younger audiences, my daughter included,” says James Russell Hornsby, Founder and CEO of Cepia. “We’re excited to introduce Decora Girlz and fill the gap for fashion-forward and vibrant sticker play in the doll aisle by bringing an authentic and diverse collection to market and color to the masses.”
Decora Girlz will be available this month at Walmart and Amazon. The brand will also debut at FAO Schwarz in New York City with a window takeover and a dedicated Decora Girlz section in the store along with in-store activations each weekend this month.
