Funko Games has collaborated with Lucasfilm to bring Indiana Jones to board game night. The company today revealed four new games, three already available for purchase and the final coming to Target soon.
“Collaborating with Lucasfilm on Indiana Jones has been a dream, with the whole Funko Games team flexing their creative muscles as we designed a truly original slate of games,” says Deirdre Cross, Head of Funko Games. “Our new product line captures the excitement and adventure of the Indiana Jones franchise while also providing a broad range of fun and challenging gameplay experiences for players of all levels.”

Indiana Jones Cryptic is a new addition to the existing line of “Puzzles and Pathways Adventures” from Funko Games. The game asks players to follow a series of clues from Indiana Jones’ journal. It follows the basic premise of an escape room, with players solving puzzles, deciphering texts, and putting their heads together to navigate temples and other locations. The game is available now on the Funko Games website.

Indiana Jones: Throw Me the Idol! is a party and card game. The game features two teams competing against one another to acquire the most points and race in a quick-paced, 30-minute match. Something Wild!: Indiana Jones is the newest addition to the Something Wild! card game series. The game comes with a miniature Indiana Jones Pop! figure and features character cards from the classic films. Both games are available now on the Funko Games website.

Finally, Indiana Jones: Sands of Adventure is a strategy game expected to release on June 18 at Target. The game asks players to step into the shoes of favorite characters Indiana Jones, Sallah, Marion Ravenwood, and Marcus Brody, and battle to save the Ark of the Covenant. Players will encounter Indiana Jones villains such as Colonel Dietrich, Major Toht, and Dr. René Belloq.
The Funko Games releases precede the release of the new Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny movie, expected in theaters on June 30. With the upcoming movie, other companies have also gotten in on the nostalgic wave for India Jones releases, including new sets from LEGO focused on the brand.
