Trump to intervene to prevent the decline of the holiday spirit and to protect American jobs, families, and traditions.

Gemmy Industries, a Texas-based holiday toy company, employs more than 100 Americans and is a leader in the seasonal décor market. Businesses like Flaherty’s stay stocked and remain afloat during significant challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, because of long-standing duty-free policies upheld by Republican and Democratic administrations.
Since the U.S. holiday décor and toy industries are a multi-billion-dollar market, many companies rely on overseas manufacturers to remain affordable for American consumers. However, existing and potentially new tariffs threaten key seasonal imports for small and medium-sized businesses. Flaherty warns that tariffs will result in empty shelves, price hikes, and great hardships for American companies.Â
