Goliath Group, best known for interactive games for young kids such as Pop the Pig, has unanimously decided to welcome the toy industry veteran Brian Weiss as the new president of North America. Weiss has a history of working with other toy industry bigs, such as Jakks Pacific and Moose Toys.
The new addition comes with a proposed vision by Goliath to expand further into the toy industry. CEO of Goliath Group Jochanan Golad says that Weiss’ industry knowledge will “play an integral role” in the company’s future planning.
“As I transition into my new role as President of North America at Goliath Group, I am grateful to be joining an incredibly innovative and collaborative team that loves what they do,” says Brian Weiss. “I look forward to complementing Goliath’s robust game offering with an equally impressive toy line. All our products have one simple goal, to bring smiles to faces of all ages. We have been creating smiles for over 30 years, and we have only just begun, so hold on!”
Weiss has more than 23 years of toy industry experience. His previous position was senior vice president with Moose Toys and he officially started with Goliath on Nov. 1. He intends to oversee the expansion of business within both the U.S. and Canada.
