Goliath is busy this summer with three new game drops.
The company recently acquired the license for Green Team Wins from Nathan Thorton and creative studio 25th Century Games. Green Team Wins a competitive game where players are all asked the same questions and compete to get the right answers. The winners of each round join the green team, and, of course, the green team wins.
“Green Team Wins is an absolute riot, you’ll be addicted after just a few rounds with your friends & family,” says Brian Weiss, President of North America at Goliath. “Partners like 25th Century feel like an extension of the Goliath family, because of the values we share: they’re passionate about games, are embedded in the community, and are energized to bring new ideas to new categories.”
Green Team Wins will be available at Target later this month.
Goliath is also releasing two sequel games to The Floor is Lava: The Floor is Lava: Hot Zone and The Lawn is Lava. The Floor is Lava: Hot Zone features classic gameplay along with new surprises, including a “Get out of lava free card” while The Lawn is Lava includes new water and fire tiles and involves water balloons.
“Despite the growing usage of technology, families still reach for a classic board game and appreciate its aptitude for spending quality time together,” Weiss says. “And as a family-owned company, we are thrilled to be further broadening our roster of toys and games that do just that.”
The Lawn is Lava is available now and The Floor is Lava: Hot Zone will be available at Target soon.
