Halloween Squishmallows Squad | Source: Kellytoy/the Toy Book

Halloween will be here before you can say “Pumpkin Spice Latte” and the fall Squishmallows squad already has us screaming.

Kellytoy — a subsidiary of Jazwares — announced the Halloween Squishmallows line-up and the limited-edition characters are equal parts sweet and spooky with bats, ghosts, vampires, mummies, jack-o-lanterns, witches, and other creeptastic creatures to hunt for. Each year, the Halloween-themed characters are in high demand for Squishmallows fanatics, topping the list as the most popular of all the seasonal plush characters.

This fall, fans can search for classic Squishmallows characters all dressed up in new Halloween costumes, including Emily the black bat, who dreams of being an astronomer; mummy owl Holly, who loves throwing Halloween parties; Tally the vampire tabby cat, who plans to wear two Halloween costumes this year; and Grace the ghost, dressed up in a witch hat and “boo” embroidery. New characters will include Detra the red octopus witch, who works in a costume shop and loves helping customers find the perfect outfit, and Zelina, a Day of the Dead black cat whose favorite day of the year is — unsurprisingly — Día de Los Muertos.

The Halloween characters will be available in a variety of sizes (depending on the character), including 5, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24 inches. Prices will range from $6.99-69.99, based on the size. There are now more than 1,000 different Squishmallows characters and the brand is nearing a milestone of 100 million Squishmallows sold.

Squishmallows are sold on squishmallows.com, as well as on Amazon and at specialty retailers across the country, and part of the fun is growing your Squishmallows squad by hunting down hard-to-find characters. Keep your peepers peeled as these spooktacular Squishmallows head into stores soon.
