Mattel is revving up for a revival. This month, kids can watch a new season of Hot Wheels Matchbox Adventures on YouTube, sporting all-new rides, races, and rescues.
Titled Matchbox: Sky Rescue Squadron, the series’ fifth season follows the imaginary adventures of Mason, Kayla, Annie, and Wyatt as they play with their favorite Hot Wheels Matchbox vehicles. The four best friends will zoom through uncharted skies, tackling new challenges and facing dangerous foes along the way. The season premieres Sept. 6, with new episodes airing weekly throughout the month.
The first episode whisks the squad to Mount Matchbox. Armed with a Snow Explorer, a 65 Land Rover Safari Series II, and a Porsche Spyder, the friends set out to climb to the top, no matter what snowy obstacles cross their path. Between the high-flying action and silly stunts, viewers will discover that when they’re stuck, friends will always be there to help.
