There are major changes happening at IDW Publishing.

The company revealed plans to change its corporate structure with two new executive appointments and three promotions. In efforts to maximize brand awareness, innovation, and growth, the company appointed Davidi Jonas as CEO and Joshua Frankel as Chief Development Officer. IDW Publishing’s promotions include Mark Doyle and Tara McCrillis taking on the roles of Co-Publishers, Amber Huerta becoming the Chief Financial Officer, and Jamie S. Rich taking on the helm of Editor-in-Chief. 

“We have a streamlined, integrated organization with an awesome new leadership team,” Jonas says. “We are working toward robust profitability, alongside superior marketing, sales, licensor relations, as well as best-in-industry terms for creators, increased live and digital fan engagement, novel play modalities, and continued dedication to authentic, engaging storytelling and entertainment.”

With this new restructuring, the company is focusing on initiatives to maximize revenue and brand awareness. IDW Publishing plans to execute strategic sales, marketing, and publicity endeavors. The company plans to continue fostering a strong presence in markets such as direct, retail, foreign, digital and e-commerce.

IDW maintains relationships with toy makers and intellectual property (IP) owners, including Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast, Paramount, Nickelodeon, CBS Studios, and Toho. The company publishes fan-favorite series such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, My Little Pony, Godzilla, and Dungeons and Dragons.
