Just Play has partnered with The Toy Foundation (TTF) to release the Ukraine Relief Special Edition Slinky. TTF is a 501 (c)3 charity with a mission to provide and support play to kids and families across the globe. Through this collaboration, 100% of the proceeds from each purchase of the blue-and-yellow Slinky will be donated to TTF’s Emergency Relief Fund which has helped encourage healing through play by supporting small-and large-scale crisis relief efforts.
“We are horrified by the unprovoked invasion in Ukraine, which has caused extreme destruction and chaos to innocent families,” says Just Play Co-President Charlie Emby. “In partnership with The Toy Foundation, we proudly join the global toy industry in raising much-needed funds to provide aid and resources to the Ukrainian community, in particular the kids who have been impacted by the devastation of war and deprived of the joys of childhood.”Â
The special edition Slinky was created through Just Play Cares, the philanthropic branch of Just Play that has helped expand the company’s charitable outreach to support kids, their childhoods, and their families. The initiative of the Slinky helps bring mindfulness to consumers to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine while allowing for parents to introduce the iconic Slinky toy to their kids.
