Kappa Toys is a specialty retailer in Las Vegas, focusing on collectibles, toys, and other goods that bring nostalgia and “kawaii fun” to toy fans of all ages. The store’s prior location was in the Fashion Show Mall, and they’ve just recently relocated to a new store in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
“Kappa Toys has truly become the toy store for Las Vegas,” says Lizzy Newsome, Kappa Toys Founder. “Bringing the store to the Forum Shops is the next step as we work to reimagine the classic toy store experience.”
The Kappa Toys store features a tokidoki shop within a shop, displays specifically for the Sanrio, Rilakkuma, and Studio Ghibli brands, and an ever-rotating collection of toys. The store has a stated mission of encouraging people of all ages to engage in the play experience. With a goal of getting customers in the door with nostalgic toys and then introducing them to new brands, Kappa Toys aims to please adults as well as kids.
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is a well-known shopping location within the Las Vegas Strip. Known as a luxury shopping spot, the location holds around 160 specialty stores, including Gucci, Versace, and Apple. Kappa Toys will be the first toy store to open at the mall since FAO Schwarz closed many years ago.
