Tara Duncan is a brand that’s seen success already, with a long publishing history of novels by Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian and an animated tv series that aired from 2010 to 2011. Now, a new 3D-animated series from Princess Sam Pictures has been released, and with it comes the opportunity to license toys and other products.
Laurent Taieb has been appointed by Princess Sam Entertainment Group to manage this next stage in development. Taieb has his own consulting business as well as experience working for Nickelodeon. He will focus on brand strategy and future consumer products such as toys and games. The company has indicated plans for fashion dolls, plush, action figures, playsets, and more.

“The launch of the new show provides the perfect starting point for an equally imaginative and appealing licensing campaign,” says Laurent Taieb says. “I’m looking forward enormously to bringing Tara and her amazing world to multiple licensing categories for her millions of young fans worldwide.”
The new animated series began airing in select areas last year, including France, and will continue to release in various territories in the future. With that release, a variety of products are expected to follow.
