Mattel is introducing the brand’s first Kennbassador: LeBron James. James is an author, activist, philanthropist, and basketball legend, it only makes sense that he is given this honor. Barbie is partnering with the LeBron James Family Foundation to release this Barbie Signature doll.
It is the first Ken doll to represent a professional athlete and is the first launch of the Kennbassador line, which is debuting just ahead of Ken’s 65th anniversary.

James’ doll will stand one inch taller than the average Ken doll and come in custom packaging. The doll is complete with a custom varsity jacket over the LeBron James Family Foundation’s “We Are Family” T-shirt, Nike Terminator High sneakers, Beats headphones, sunglasses, a fanny pack, a watch, and his classic “I Promise” band. Even the patches on the doll’s jacket reference his life’s milestones, including a “We Are Family” patch, an Ohio patch, and, of course, his iconic jersey number 23 patch.
The LeBron James Kennbassadors doll will be available April 14 for $75 at select Target stores and online, Amazon, Walmart, and Mattel Creations
