Some of LEGO’s most popular products are its licensed building sets. From Marvel to Star Wars, to The Lord of the Rings, these sets feature iconic characters, scenes, and settings from several franchises. Now, LEGO is adding Dune to its lineup.
The LEGO Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter features almost 1,400 pieces that come together to create the giant, dragonfly-like vehicle used to flit across planets with ease. Each ornithopter wing has functional blades and turns up to 180 degrees.
Designed for adult fans, the set also comes with eight minifigures: Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho, and Baron Harkonnen. Builders can put the minifigures in the ornithopter’s cockpit or display them alongside the build, which is full of small details.
The LEGO Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set is available for preorder now and will be available both in-store and online starting on Feb. 1, 2024 ahead of Dune: Part Two hitting theater screens on March 15.
