Wizards of the Coast is partnering with the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) for a brand-new Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair drop, Nuestra Magia, available through July 13 online.
Developed with multiple Latiné artists under the leadership of senior art director Ovidio Cartagena, Nuestra Magia celebrates the richness and diversity of Latin American cultures through original card art, thematic design, and multilingual presentation. The drop includes cards with alternate names in Spanish and Portuguese — such as “La abundancia de Yúcahu,” a reimagining of Sylvan Library — and comes in both English and translated rule text versions.
Cartagena has worked on previous Magic sets, including Phyrexia: All Will Be One, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, and Duskmourn: House of Horror.
The new Secret Lair release is available in non-foil and rainbow foil variants. Fifty percent of all product sales directly benefit NALAC, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing Latiné artists and cultural initiatives.
Secret Lair: Nuestra Magia is printed on demand and available exclusively online. Fans can learn more and purchase it at magicsecretlair.com.
