As mystery collectibles continue to evolve, MGA Entertainment is thinking outside the box. The company is introducing a new category of products that combines snuggly plush surprises with beloved brands — Cuddlectibles.
Kicking off the format is Hyojo, a series of mystery box plush filled with squishy characters inspired by classic snacks and candies. Each colorful collectible features an expressive face, unique sensory textures, and playful designs, perfect for play, trade, and display. The first Hyojo is available now on Amazon for $10.99.
The initial series features licensed designs from Hershey’s, Reese’s, Jolly Rancher, Hostess, ICEE, and Blow Pop. There are three plushies to collect from each brand, 18 styles altogether, with the chance to find rare and ultra-rare versions of every character. Hyojo’s second wave will launch April 1 with even more fan-favorite foods.
Josh Hackbarth, Chief Marketing Officer of MGA Entertainment, said, “Hyojo is an instantly lovable character whose identity is built on reflecting the passions of our fans. By partnering with iconic food and beverage brands for this first wave, we’re fusing the world of toys with authentic consumer obsessions, creating a must-have surprise for every collector.”
The first series of Hyojo mystery boxes are available now on Amazon, with launches at Target and Walmart to follow later this month. For more information, visit MGA’s website.
