In line with Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary celebration, MGA Entertainment has launched the MGA’s Miniverse Make It Mini Food Hello Kitty line.
The new collection includes minis inspired by the Sanrio character. Kids can unbox 12 different fake food and drink minis to create, collect, and display. Mini replicas of a bento box, fruit tea, instant spicy noodles, waffles, and more are available. Each one is themed to Hello Kitty and the aesthetic that matches her sweet personality.

“Sanrio is delighted to partner with such an innovator in the toy space and introduce Hello Kitty to the highly collectible world of MGA’s Miniverse,” Craig Takiguchi, Chief Operating Officer at Sanrio, says. “Both miniatures and novelty food are popular themes in Sanrio’s world, and we are excited to bring the two together and offer these super cute collectibles that are sure to surprise and delight our fans.”
Kids simply unbox the capsule for a surprise item and follow the tiny recipe card. After adding the included resin (which is themed to the kit), kids put their creation in sunlight or UV light and wait for it to harden. The capsule also turns into a display case, and each capsule is $9.99.

The Sanrio minis join several other branded kits, including IP such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Hershey. MGA’s Miniverse selections are available on Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more.
