Miniso launched a new location at the Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne, marking another milestone in the company’s expansion efforts in Australia. The new store opened July 5.
Shoppers who attended the grand opening saw live performances from local K-pop and lion dance groups, as well as an appearance from Australian actress Tahan Lew-Fatt. The celebration included complimentary gifts, a special storewide 10% discount for the day, and giveaways for sharing the experience on social media.
The new location, which is over 500 square meters and located just outside the shopping center’s food court, is the largest in the country. It is filled with Miniso’s wide assortment of collectibles, plush, electronics, stationery, and other merchandise. Miniso’s Disney line of collectibles, including the newest Stitch line, the Winnie the Pooh Naughty Party, and the Mickey Fun Crash collection, were available at the grand opening. Also available at launch and unique to this location is a collectible line of vinyl plush called the Ufufy Fruit Collection.
The Highpoint Shopping Centre location marks Miniso‘s tenth opening in Australia since March, and the brand is looking forward to opening more locations within the next year.
