Ahead of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Disney Branded Television widens its base. Disney has proclaimed the acquisition of the Miraculous Stellar Force. It will be a product of Disney+ and Disney Channel.
Miraculous Stellar Force, which will premiere in 2027, will be the first spin-off of the Miraculous universe. It will be a 2D anime-style cartoon, rather than Miraculous‘ original style.
With ’Stellar Force,’ we’re expanding the Miraculous universe in bold and exciting directions, with a completely new team, setting, and mythology, while staying true to the values that made ’Miraculous’ a global phenomenon. Kids around the world will see themselves reflected in these diverse, relatable heroes navigating friendship, identity, and teamwork amidst epic cosmic stakes. With its blend of action and comedy and unforgettable characters,’ Stellar Force’ is a fresh take on what it means to be a hero and perfectly positioned to become an instant classic!”
Accordingly, Thomas Astruc, who also creates Miraculous — Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, is creating this new show. The story takes place at an international school in Tokyo. It will follow 12 culturally diverse students as they discover their superpowers.

A one-hour special will release later this year before the new show debuts. It will serve as an entry point to the new series and familiarize fans with Japanese culture, since that is a central pillar of the new series.
