Moose Toys‘ new Bluey collection of figures, playsets, and plush will soon be snagging plenty of Dollarydoos and Dollarbucks from families across the U.S.
The full range debuts at Target stores later this month before expanding into mass retailers everywhere beginning August 1.
Bluey is the sweetest kids’ show around, featuring a family of Australian pups who love to use their imaginations and spend quality time together.
“Bluey was a runaway hit in Australia, and as fellow Aussies, Moose Toys is in a unique position to bring the magic of the show directly to U.S. fans with this special collection,” says Paul Solomon, co-owner, Moose Toys. “Through the television series, the loveable pup has already captured the hearts of more than 15 million fans in the U.S. and our toys will help to kids bring Bluey’s adventures into their own homes.”
Bluey centers around a 6-year-old Blue Heeler named Bluey, her younger sister Bingo, and her parents Chilli and Bandit. Every episode features new adventures in make-believe, playing games like “Keepy Uppy,” “Statue,” and so much more. Moose’s new line of Bluey toys does an amazing job of bringing the fun and whimsy of the show to the real world.
Best Mate Bluey (pictured above) is a jumbo plush that’s perfect for cuddling. At 18 inches tall, it will easily become kids’ favorite take-along toy. This plush is MEGA soft and snuggly, kids will love toting Bluey around and giving her endless hugs.
There are two mini playsets with tons of play value: Bluey’s Playground and Bingo’s Playroom. Bluey’s Playground features a Bluey figure, a slide, a swing, and a cute red wagon kids can pull Bluey around in. It pairs well with Bingo’s Playroom, which includes a Bingo figure, a canopy, a doctor table, a kiwi rug, a computer, and a magic xylophone. Both playsets feature free-standing pieces and work great together. Bingo’s Playroom features some smaller pieces, so be sure to reserve these toys for kids ages 3 and up.
The Heeler 4WD Family Vehicle is perfect for summer adventures and even comes with a Bandit (AKA Bluey’s Dad) figure. The car has rolling wheels, and cute little car seats in the back for Bingo and Bluey figures. I love that the top of the car opens up so kids can get the figures in and out with ease. It also comes with two surfboards that sit nicely on the roof rack. Kids can reenact their favorite scenes from the show or make up new adventures with the Heeler family.
The new toy line also includes small plush versions of Bluey and Bingo, a Bluey & Family figure pack, and a Bluey & Friends pack.
At the center of the collection is Bluey’s Family Home, a multi-level playset with four different rooms for kids to explore: the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Each room is designed to look just like the ones in the show. Plus, there’s lots of furniture accessories for kids to move around the house. The set includes a Bluey figure, but there’s enough room for the whole Bluey family to hang out.
All of the playsets in the line are highly detailed and super cute, and the figures have movable arms, legs, and torsos, so kids can pose them in all different ways. These straight-forward, simple toys are perfect for creating imaginative stories, which is what Bluey is all about.
