The virtual pet site Neopets has been around since 1999, undergoing a number of changes to leadership and the brand as the internet changed with it. Now, the brand is once again restructuring, with a change in corporate ownership and a new roadmap designed to bring back the nostalgic pet site’s prior success. The brand will be led by Dominic Law who has previous experience with Neopets under the ownership of NetDragon Websoft.
With the help of our team here at Neopets, our investors, and most importantly, our loyal community of fans, we will work together to bring Neopets back to its glory days and beyond.
Neopets saw the recent dissolution of parent company JumpStart Games and, following a buyout deal, will now be controlled by World of Neopia. Initial plans in the roadmap under this new entity include quality of life improvements to the website, events, and new partnerships.

The brand will be present at the upcoming Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) this weekend, hosting a Neopets Era Party on Friday at Deck No. 655. The event will include food inspired by the site’s world, a live DJ, and merch. Neopets will also be represented throughout the con at Booth No. 1129.
Neopets has a long history and taps into nostalgic for many adults that played on the pet site as kids. With this fresh roadmap and larger presence, the brand is hoping to revive and even expand on those days of an incredibly active and involved userbase.
