Disney Branded Television and Marvel are assembling a new animated preschool series featuring an iconic and iron-ic member of the Avengers.

The animated series, Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends, will star a young Iron Man and his best friends. Together, the iron-clad friends must think creatively, learn to work together, and save the world along the way. Slated to release on Disney Jr. and Disney+ in summer 2025, the series is part of Disney and Marvel’s expanded strategy to bring the incredible legacy of Marvel’s Avengers to a new generation of heroes.

Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends will follow the armored misadventures of the young supergenius Tony Stark and his super-powered companions. With him as Iron Man (Mason Blomberg), Riri Williams (Kapri Ladd) as Ironheart, and Amadeus Cho (Aidyn Ahn) as Iron Hulk, the team has to work together to solve problems and protect their city. The trio works out of their beachfront base, the Iron Quarters (IQ), with the android Vision and their adorable pup, Gamma. While the characters each have an iron suit, every group member has a unique super ability. Ironheart has a Heartbeat Bubble forcefield that she uses to protect her city and her friends. Iron Man holds a Nano-Shield, and Iron Hulk uses his powerful Iron Boom and Hulk Stomp to save the day. Together, the friends will embark on many adventures to make the world a better place.

Many members of the Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends creative team have previously collaborated with Marvel and Disney. Executive producer Harrison Wilcox and producer Ashley Rideout have worked with the companies on the wildly successful preschool series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends. Other members have created for popular kids’ network projects, including executive producer Sean Coyle (Puppy Dog Pals) and co-executive producer James Eason-Garcia (Pupstruction). With this experience and knowledge behind the team, the children’s television community is excited to see what Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends will have in store.

Additional information and casting for the series will be announced as the release date approaches.

Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends is projected to premiere in Summer 2025 on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
