Hasbro’s Peppa Pig, Transformers, and Furby franchises are getting the Ollyball treatment thanks to a new licensing deal.
Ollyballs are waterproof balls that kids can color with markers and crayons. The product won the Toy of the Year award in 2019.
“This collaboration will bring even more joy and innovation to our worldwide beloved colorable and patented playthings, further cementing Ollyball’s status as a must-have toy for children everywhere,” says Ollyball Founder Joseph Burke. “Get ready for a whole new level of games, education, surprises, and ‘full-force indoor play’ from Ollyball.”
The company’s other products include glow-in-the-dark Ollyballs and licensed NBA Ollyballs with Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Lakers graphics. The product’s hook is “Play Ball in the House!” because, as it weighs under an ounce, it is meant to spare windows and other breakable items in the home.
The licensed Hasbro products will get an industry-only showcase at the LA Toy Preview in September. For more information on the company before the preview, visit the Ollyball website.
