The sports trading card category is getting a new addition: Panini America has inked a multiyear sports trading card partnership with Professional Fighters League (PFL).

“We are very proud and excited to be partnering with the Professional Fighters League,” says Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations for Panini America. “The PFL has enjoyed tremendous growth and its events and athletes continue to engage fight fans all over the world. For our Panini MMA fans our partnership with the PFL will allow fans to collect Panini’s products that energized the MMA trading card category.”

Besides trading cards, the partnership will also result in digital collectibles like Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). This new deal comes at a time of growth for various Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sports categories and expanded MMA licenses.

Panini America has previously executed trading cards and stickers for IPs like Barbie, the NBA, and Piñata Smashlings. To learn more about the new trading card deal, visit the Panini website.
