A pair of executives from Paramount and VaynerMedia are slated to deliver the opening day keynote of Licensing Expo, the world’s largest licensing trade show created by the Global Licensing Group in partnership with Licensing International.
Paramount President of Consumer Products and Experiences Pam Kaufman and VaynerMedia CEO Gary Vaynerchuk will deliver the Day 1 keynote for the event, which takes place May 24-26. The duo is expected to discuss future opportunities in the industry, how the world will impact brand licensing, and technological advancement.
“Education is part of our ongoing work to foster the growth and expansion of licensing around the world, and also a cornerstone of Licensing Expo,” says Licensing International President Maura Regan. “Pam and Gary are innovators in their fields and their expertise and insights will inspire the Licensing Expo audience, driving the business forward.”
After the opening keynote address, the Day 2 keynote will feature an expert-led discussion with executives from Robert L. Ward, Moonbug, Falcon’s Beyond, and Bay Laurel Advisors to moderate. The presentation entitled “From Dream to Reality: The Power of Brand Licensing for Location-Based Entertainment” will be delivered on May 25 and detail everything businesses must consider when developing and executing a location-based event (LBE) deal.
“Brand extension and the burgeoning digital space are a perfect match; there are so many opportunities for IP owners to engage with consumers in ways we couldn’t even have fathomed a few years ago, like NFTS,” says Global Licensing Group SVP Anna Knight. “Technology is a game-changer for the licensing industry, catalyzing new ways for brand owners across categories to meet consumers across the globe on whatever platform they’re on and create new revenue streams.”
