New Dolls Based on ‘Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir’ | Source: Playmates Toys/ZAG Labs/the Toy Book

The stylish Parisian superheroes of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir are coming to the U.S. in the form of fashion dolls from Playmates Toys and ZAG Labs.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is a French CGI-animated series from ZAG, ON Kids, and the Mediawan Group about two school crushes who become secret superheroes in Paris, unbeknownst to each other. The series first aired in 2015 on Nickelodeon, with three seasons currently available for streaming on Netflix before the series heads to the Disney Channel and Disney+ for its fourth and fifth seasons.

The Miraculous toy line will debut stateside this spring following a successful international launch late last year with Ladybug, Cat Noir, Queen Bee, and Rena Rouge, each dressed in their signature outfits with packaging to match. Each doll features 15 points of articulation for poseability and stands 10.5-11 inches tall. In addition to the Basic Action Dolls, there is also a more deluxe Ladybug Dress Up set that includes a mask, a working yoyo with a color-changing akuma, earrings, and a Tikki Kwami. In the TV series, Kwamis are tiny, divine beings that give a unique power to whoever wears their Miraculous, which is a special jewel.
