Ron Faris has been named Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Disney Consumer Products, a move that signals the company’s continued focus on immersive brand storytelling and cultural relevance across categories.
In his new role, Faris will lead global marketing strategies across Disney’s regional and global licensing teams, publishing, retail, and games businesses. He will report to Tasia Filippatos, President of Disney Consumer Products.

Faris joins Disney from Nike, where he spent nine years spearheading high-profile digital and cultural initiatives. Most recently, he served as Global VP and GM of Nike Virtual Studios and the “.SWOOSH” platform, leading digital brand storytelling efforts focused on Generation Z and Generation Alpha. He previously led the SNKRS App, growing it into a global platform across more than 55 countries and helping generate over $1.5 billion in revenue.
