Video game company SEGA is highlighting its character Shadow this year.
SEGA is known for its Sonic the Hedgehog game series among others, and a new campaign this year will highlight one of its most popular characters. Shadow the Hedgehog acts as a foil to Sonic, but is getting its own spotlight for 2024. Fearless: Year of Shadow will include several product releases and activations for fans of the character.

A new LEGO set centered around the character has already launched. The Shadow the Hedgehog Escape set includes 196 pieces and is designed for kids ages 8 and up. The set includes a Shadow figure and builds for a lab section, Shadow’s motorcycle, and a RhinoBot.
In live events, SEGA will take a Shadow-inspired motorcycle on tour in honor of the campaign, with its first stop at the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin from April 12-14.
Several of the company’s game offerings are adding Shadow-focused features as well. In the new Sonic x Shadow Generations, gamers can play as Shadow the Hedgehog in a new story campaign that combines the 2D and 3D stages classic and modern Sonic games are known for. Fearless events will also appear in the Sonic Forces Mobile and Sonic Dash mobile games, both available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
SEGA is encouraging fans of Shadow to keep their eyes on the official Fearless: Year of the Shadow page to see new events and offerings as the campaign progresses.
