Spielwarenmesse has handed out the coveted ToyAward. Winners were honored in a ceremony for six categories on the second day of the international toy fair.
Geomag Magicube Blocks Stacking Safari from Geomagworld won the Baby & Infant category, while the PreSchool category awarded 3 Shape Memo from Buitenspeel BV / BS Toys. The top SchoolKids toy went to RC Football Set – Bundesliga from Carrera Toys, and the No. 1 Teenager & Adults toy is Moon Acrylic Jigsaw Puzzle from Abfun. The Startup winner is Qubitunes by Qubs and the Sustainability winner is Wave Stacker from Plan Creations / PlanToys.
Winners were selected by a 14-member international jury staffed by experts in retail, industry, market research, toy safety, sustainability, and education. Toys were evaluated on originality, safety, play enjoyment, potential for commercial success, comprehensibility of the product concept, production, and quality. A total of 629 toys were submitted for the ToyAward, one of the industry’s most prestigious honors.
